Annette Paquet has taught figure and landscape classes in San Diego as well as other workshops. She says "As an artist, I speak in terms of color, line, shape. I paint from nature-a source I find exciting. Then, through omission and selection and emphasis of what I feel, I put down on paper a touch of the essence, a simplification. It is the way that sunlight radiates, or the colors give a mood. It is natural phenomena and the fascinating shapes of things in relation to one another. "
DIRECTIONS; Lagoons of Torrey Pines.
From the North: Exit Highway 5 at CARMEL VALLEY RD. Turn right at end of ramp at light. Continue west for 2 or 3 lights until you see a sign for Torrey Pines Beach on left. Last time we were there -no charge for parking. However, this has changed, so please park on road and walk the short distance in past booth. Annette will be on the left, overlooking the lagoon.
From the SOUTH;Exit Carmel Valley Rd. Turn West. From the EAST;Highway 56 will bring you to Carmel Valley Rd.Turn West.
