As part of the SDWS art education outreach, we visited Normal Heights Elementary School in District 3 in San Diego. They have an afterschool program with 55 children! Thankfully, we had three volunteers from SDWS and 4 staff from the school. The kids were excelllent and created some beautiful artwork.

We got good review from the students:

Jacob (3rd grade):  "I liked the drawing part and the cool shapes
that I drew in my tree."
Beibibiana (3rd grade):  "I like using paint and I liked playing with
all the colors."
Diego (5th grade):  "I liked that we could make our own shapes, learn
how to use the watercolor trays better and mix colors."
Maria (4th grade):  "It was a good time and I liked painting the
trees and making them colorful."
