Each month a new show is presented to the public. All visitors are asked to vote for their favorite painting. Each month the votes are tallied and a People's Choice award is presented to a member artist for their work that inspired the winning number of votes from our visitors from all over the world.

More than 100 new and original works of watermedia art are shown in our light filled, spacious art gallery each month.

State of the art lighting and exhibition standards enhance the viewing experience of gallery visitors

SDWS Art Gallery is our showcase for the tremendous variety of watermedia art created by SDWS members. Artwork is available for sale along with greeting cards and other items.

The San Diego Watercolor Society, as a nonprofit organization, depends on its members who volunteer to help in all departments as well as to staff the art gallery during its hours of operation. At the Gallery, SDWS Volunteers meet and assist multinational visitors in viewing and acquiring art from our monthly Member Shows and providing support for SDWS's prestigious International Exhibition, First Fridays or participation in other gallery events.
