2017 International Exhibition Entry Information

2016 Best In Show IShow 2016 Second Place Winner
 2016 Third Place Winner

The San Diego Watercolor Society was established in 1965 and is one of the largest and most active in the United States. Its International Exhibition is widely recognized for its high standard of excellence in watermedia art.

For over three decades, the International Exhibition has been one of the highlights of the year for SDWS. This annual event attracts entries from hundreds of watermedia artists worldwide. Accepted participating artists are eligible for large cash and merchandise awards.

A gala awards reception for members, artists and the public is held at the SDWS gallery just prior to the free public opening, and thousands of visitors view the exhibit during the month of October.

Many people contribute to make this exhibition happen, and we would particularly like to thank the Federation of Canadian Aritsts and the European Confederation of Watercolor Societies who helped us promote our call for entry on their websites and social media.  We profoundly appreciate their support.

2017 will be the 37th SDWS International Exhibition. Katherine Chang Liu is the Juror for this year's International Exhibition.
