Robin St. Louis Biography

My goal is always to capture a feeling of warmth and sunlight in my paintings, and I prefer very saturated color and high contrast.  I like my paintings to feel “juicy.”

My work has been featured in the following magazines:  International Artist, Watermedia Focus, The Palette, Watercolor, Watercolor Artist and Watercolor Highlights.  I am fortunate that my paintings have won awards in many national exhibitions, including First Place in the 2014 Watercolor West International Juried Exhibition.  I am a Signature Member of Watercolor West, the National Watercolor Society, the Northwest Watercolor Society and the San Diego Watercolor Society.  I am a past President of the Board of Watercolor West, and was a board member for twelve years. I just retired as the Program Chair for the Coachella Valley Watercolor Society.
