38th International Exhibition

The San Diego Watercolor Society was established in 1965 and is one of the largest and most active in the United States. Its International Exhibition is widely recognized for its high standard of excellence in watermedia art.

For over three decades, the International Exhibition has been one of the highlights of the year for SDWS. This annual event attracts entries from hundreds of watermedia artists worldwide. Accepted participating artists are eligible for large cash and merchandise awards.

A gala awards reception for members, artists and the public is held at the SDWS gallery just prior to the free public opening, and thousands of visitors view the exhibit during the month of October.

2018 will be the 38th SDWS International Exhibition. John Salminen is the Juror for this year's International Exhibition.
