Unique Techniques in an Arches World - LIVE GALLERY WORKSHOP

Using your own reference, produce watercolors with a unique flair that will bring attention from viewers and draw curiosity, maybe even awards, out of Jurors. Develop a unique statement using everyday materials like Sandpaper, Corrugated Cardboard, the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, and a sharp #11 X-Acto blade. Think the image out, prepare a unique 140# Arches Cold Press painting surface, block in your composition. Start painting loose with a large brush, and finish strong and sharp, detailing as you go. Looking to go Textural? Bold? Subtle? It’s all doable with the materials you’ll experiment with over two days. Chuck will begin each session demonstrating his various techniques. During the day, he cruises the workshop answering artists’ questions and offering one-on-one observations; revisiting any technique for a clear understanding. This workshop will bring some intriguing new tools to your paint box.
