How to Enter Member Shows (Regular, not Virtual Only)

Follow instructions below to enter Regular (NOT virtual only) Monthly Member Shows and carefully review the Entry Requirements. Other shows such as the International Exhibition, Western Federation of Watercolor Societies Exhibition, and other special shows may have different instructions. Please see the detailed information for each special show for further information.

Step 1 of 3: Entry

Enter your painting online.

  1. Log in
  2. Select the exhibition you wish to enter on your ACCOUNT page.
  3. Enter the following information:
    • Painting Title
    • Upload Image of your Artwork* (Not required for monthly member show entry)
    • Artwork Size
    • Framed Size 
    • Medium
    • Price
  4. Click Enter for each piece you wish to enter.
  5. Complete your entry or entries.
  6. Pay your $20 fee (unless you have previously paid the $120 Annual Member Show Fee).

The entry fee is either $20 for all paintings entered into a single show (up to 2 per category) OR an annual show fee of $120 can be prepaid. Annual show fee applies to all member shows in that membership year. The SDWS Membership year is from October 1 - September 30.

Step 2 of 3: Jurying

Monthly Member shows are juried online. After jurying is complete, accepted artists will be notified by email.

Step 3 of 3: Drop-Off

Accepted paintings must be dropped off at the gallery on the designated date. This is generally the Saturday after jurying.
