January Volunteer of the Month: Dwight Little

Dwight Little is a great example of what makes SDWS thrive.  He’s been a member for years, working to smooth the transition from Kettner to Liberty Station. Dwight built the gallery partitions where we display our art. He constructed our shelves in the storage room and has tirelessly adjusted the lighting and made labels for all our exhibitions. In 2015 he received an SDWS Life Membership in gratitude for his contribution to our organization.

Dwight continues to work behind the scenes for SDWS. In recent months he oversaw the selection and installation of a fabulous new art hanging system in the gallery and he has printed all of the artists’ award certificates for this year’s International Exhibition. It is our privilege to recognize Dwight as our SDWS January Volunteer of the Month and to thank him once again for being the force behind our continued success at SDWS.
