April Volunteer of the Month: Carolyn Rosado

Carolyn Rosado was the very first Volunteer of the Month in May 2014. She is now the April 2021 VOM. Carolyn has volunteered in numerous capacities at the San Diego Watercolor Society but is most known for her work with technology. She was instrumental in establishing the sdws.org website and online store. She has been the technical support for putting the awards together, screening and recording entries, sending notifications, and recently, developing training videos for volunteers. For many years, Carolyn has been providing much of the behind-the-scenes work to keep our Monthly Member Shows and International Exhibitions running smoothly. She is one of our most efficient and knowledgeable contributors, working behind-the-scenes on tons of SDWS projects. Working in unison is one of her highest priorities. Carolyn generously shares her knowledge with new volunteers to help SDWS be the very best it can be.

Carolyn Rosado. Silent. Dedicated beyond dedication. Invaluable input. A self-starter kind of volunteer. Ask her a question, she has the answer or will find it quickly. Require accurate, up-to-the-minute, details on your committee project? Need an Excel file full of accurate information? She’s your person! Carolyn always has a bright attitude and positive vibe. She’s a rare gem and a highly praised volunteer worthy of this award.
