Come join Mary Wood and other SDWS members in the Education Center on at the SDWS gallery at 2825 Dewey Road, Bldg 202, Suite #105, San Diego, CA. The event is Thursday June 15 from noon to 2:45 with the purpose being to make cards for:
· bringing some smiles to the young patients at the Ronald McDonald House, and
· supporting women at Project Safehouse, who are victims of domestic violence. They use the cards to ask friends and family for help with alternate housing and jobs.
Bring a sack lunch, cards, and your art supplies—cards and paints or markers. Some folks use watercolor brush pens. We will be joined by the Cardonistas, a fun group who are also dedicated to this project.
