We are sad to announce the passing of Linda Gilbreath, a long-time member of the San Diego Watercolor Society, on September 2, 2021.
Linda played an important role assisting for the First Friday receptions for many years—always present like clockwork. She was a master at cheese cutting for all of the trays of crackers and also provided ingredients for delicious punch. She sold raffle tickets for us for the I-Show for many years. She always did everything with a smile and great enthusiasm. She was creative, generous, and kind, and a real bundle of energy. She was an active participant in Member Shows, enthusiastically entering her work. We need more volunteers like her. We will miss seeing her sunny face!
